Q: What are the age ranges for the divisions?
A: T-Ball age range is 4 to 6
Minors age range is 7-9
Majors age range is 10 - 13
We will be using a league age calculator to determine division placement.
Q: When are LLYB Board Meetings?
A: Board meetings are on the 2nd Monday of the Month at 6:30pm. Keep an eye on our FB page for locations. All are welcome!
Q: How can I make a financial contribution to keep baseball going in our community?
A: All donations can be made to Healthy Start. We try to make ongoing improvements, some equipment needs to be replaced every year, we go through a ton of balls, each team needs supplies, and insurance. It's a big endeavor each year. Thank you for considering supporting the kids!
Q: Is LLYB affiliated with Little League?
A: Laytonville Leggett Youth Baseball is not a part of Little League International, so we are unable to play other teams that are a part of Little League. We are an independent organization, and while we share many elements with Little League, including rules and regulations, we are not affiliated with them. We focus on providing a fun and safe environment for our players to learn and grow in. Next year we plan to join Official Little League.
